| 04/16/06*04/16/06b*04/16/06c*8/13/02*08/03/02 | 1:52 p.m. that craving for chocolate ice cream hasnt gone away. so i had a pretty good weekend. friday night zac and agathat and i went into atlanta to the on the bricks with cowboy mouth. you cannot be unhappy if cowboy mouth is playing, you just cant. you can try. but that cute little drummer sittin up there twirlin his sticks and throwin sweat everywhere screamin isnt it great to be alive! just makes you want to scream it back. and fyi, their album with jenny says on it is like the best break up album in the world. if youve just been dumped, just pop it in, crank it up, and scream along. worked for me! zac got a little upset when some guy came up and started hittin on agatha and i felt bad for him because i know exactly how he feels. hmmmm, i feel that every time i go out with them. bleh. but we always have a blast, so i'm gettin over it. not like ive never had a crush on someone who didnt reciprocate. we were on 316 drivin into atlanta and zac was looking at the angelina jolie picture book agatha had made for him (drooling, i guess would be a more appropriate word.) these two guys in volvo pulled up next to us and zac pressed a pic of angelina with boobs hangin out of her dress against the window. so what do the guys in the volvo do? they flip us off! then they pull up next to us with a little sign that says homo. ??????? do you get it? then they start playin a little chicken-like game, pullin in front of me and slammin on their brakes and changing lanes in front of me so i cant get over. again i say ???????? is angelina jolie offensive? who knows... sat night i had to work and the wedding went really well! they didnt want to dance at first, but i made them. they had fun. AND i had a bride who's wedding i had done last may come up with her husband to say hi and tell me what a blast they had at their wedding and how much fun they were having that night! everyone kept telling me what a good time they were having and what a good job i was doing. such a relief after my last event was such a disaster. AND i got the ez up tent set up in 15 mins...improving my personal best by an hour and 15 mins (yes, that means last time it took me 1 hr 30 mins to put the tent up.) and i so very much wanted to teach the cha cha slide, but they didnt want to learn. maybe this weekend. sat was zac's bday so we (me n him n agatha) were gonna go downtown and get him shitty. and we did. and we ran into robbie and sarah at rum runners (after we went to brass monkey and i made him do a flaming dr. pepper) and they followed us around after that. yea! and then outside rum runners we ran into josh (whose bday was sun) and his friend and they followed us around too. a little history: josh, zac, agatha, robbie, and i all work as dj's for the same company. we all get along pretty well, except with josh. he's one of those arrongant, cocky, holier than thou types who just happens to be good looking so he thinks he's the schiznit. he's extremely disrespectful to kristine and mark (our bosses) and to women in general. nobody really says anything in the interest of general peace and harmony. i dont know why we all wound up going with him and his friend to some random apartment after all the bars closed downtown. but we did. and i'd never seen zac drunk before, so i didnt know what kind of drunk he was going to be. but he got really upset because josh was being all over me and agatha. not that we couldnt handle it or he was way outta line, but being drunk, zac got upset that we were hanging out with him when he knows we dont like him in the least. so zac kept eggin josh on and i couldnt really tell if they were playin around or what was going on...then josh threw zac down. and i still couldnt tell, ya know, if it was just boys rough housin or if there was something more sinister there. and zac goes inside and starts to get pissy. and then he starts talkin like he's gonna start fighting and i have an affinity for takin care of drunk folks so i was like lets go sit outside and chat. and he was just talkin about how he doesnt usually fight and how it makes him so mad that everyone is being so nice to josh and mean to him when josh is always mean to people and he threw him down and angelina said she didnt want to be around him and agatha hit him with her purse. and he kept apologizing and asking why i was the only one who was being nice to him. and i couldnt tell him. not like that. we went thru this a few times (did i mention that wil and angelina, also dj's, came by the apt?) with sitting outside with zac tryin to calm him down and then going inside and tellin everyone everything was ok. and then zac began to sober up and be ok and i started talkin to wil about the exorcist and how it wasnt scary because she was in the room the whole time so you could kinda prepare yourself for things (his view.) and i definitely have to hang out with wil more because he is such a neat person. he's so open to everything and will debate and argue with you for hours, but in a good way. and he's come so far this past year (his 2nd year in college) and its really cool to watch people find their sense of things in the world. so i got home at 5am on sun mornin and slept until noon and then proceeded to waste the entire day by watchin tv and napping. then of course i couldnt sleep last night. and here i am. still wanting ice cream. and the sweet, soft, neverending kiss. < -- > |
